We at Maxxam Insurance are looking for an experienced Auto Insurance Agent to join our team in Kelowna and Penticton!

The ideal candidate is someone with at least 6-months experience selling ICBC insurance and that is motivated self-starter, that can work within urgency whilst providing a high level of professional service toward our clientele, dealers, and colleagues. If you are a team player that positively impacts those around you - we want to meet!

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting clientele with their daily insurance needs via phone, phone and email, and in-person transactions.

  • Provide insurance quotes and sell new policies to clientele.

  • Swiftly manage walk-in traffic transactions and inquiries.

  • Follow-up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities.

  • Remain up-to-date on product knowledge and systematic changes.

  • Be proactive with individual filing tasks and organization.

  • Generate leads by referral or community input.

  • Provide timely renewal calls for existing customer business.

  • 6+ months: dealership road service

What we're looking for in a candidate:

  • 6+ months experience

  • Motivated to achieve goals.

  • Experience in Customer Service.

  • Well versed in computer programs / technology.

  • Handling client retention with ease.

  • Has strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills

  • Has a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for dealership road service

  • Flexible in job duties/tasks, and in hour availability
